GRADE-WISE

Grade 5 & 6 (Girls)

Open House will be conducted on October 8th. Parents will get constructive feedback session.

Grade 5 & 6 (Boys)

Thematic Assembly titled ‘International Day of Tolerance’ will be held on October 6th. This assembly aim to inculcate the culture of tolerance among students. Being tolerant, allow individuality and diversity while promoting peace & a civil society. Talk on “what does it mean to have tolerance”, skit on “importance of tolerance in kids”, song on “tolerance” and group activity based on “tolerance” will be included.

Grade 7 & 8 (Boys)

Special Assembly titled ‘Non-Violence’ will be held on October 7th. This assembly aim in creating awareness about the value of Non-Violence.

Quiz Competition will be conducted on October 15th. The objective is to challenge the students and expand their knowledge & understanding about facts, information & current events.

Grade 9 (Girls)

Thematic Assembly titled ‘International Day of Non-Violence’ will be held on October 2nd. Through this assembly, students will pay tribute to the iconic leader Mahatma Gandhi.

Grade 9 & 10 (Girls)

The Knowledge Fiesta will be organised on October 6th. This activity includes demonstrating awareness of the globe – The Globe At A Glance, scientific & mathematical skills – Working Models Exhibition and applying the skills of innovation – The Math Maze.

French Assembly will be held on October 9th. During this assembly, students will demonstrate their effective communication skills in French.

Grade 9 & 10 (Boys)

Thematic Assembly titled ‘International Day of Non- Violence’ will be conducted on October 2nd. This assembly aims to promote the ideals of peace, tolerance & non- violence among students. It will also help them involve in peaceful behavior in the midst of conflicts.

Talents Day will be held on October 9th. The objective is to cater the students’ ability to show their versatility in dancing, singing and art display. It also aims to boost their confidence and self- determination.

Thematic Assembly titled ‘Service Before Self’ will be conducted on October 9th. Students recognize the spirit of Service before self is to place service to others above our own self interests. This core value reminds them that something is bigger than ourselves.

Grade 11 & 12 (Girls)

Fortnight Delilte will be organised on October 2nd & 9th. This activity is an interdisciplinary approach to serve healthy food where the commerce department takes the lead in purchases, keeping accounts and marketing, supported by the humanities department. The students get a real life experience of the theory they learn in their subjects.

SUBJECT - WISE

Project Making competition (Islamic Studies) will be conducted on October 8th for grade 11 & 12 boys and on October 9th for grade 11 & 12 girls. The purpose of this competition is to allow students to do research of the given topic and make a project using best possible materials.

CAREER CENTRE

A Special Presentation of University of British Columbia (Canada) will be held on October 1st for grade 12. The objective this presentation is to give orientation to students about their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.

Special Presentations of USA Universities: Tufts University, Tulane University and Savannah College of Arts & Design will be organised on October 2nd for grade 12. Through these presentations, students will know their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.

A Special Presentation of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (USA) will be conducted on October 6th for grade 11 & 12 Science with Biology. This presentation aims to give orientation to students about their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.

Special Presentations of Indiana University-Purdue University Indiana (USA)) will be conducted on October 6th, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire (USA) on October 7th (tentative), University of California Los Angeles (USA) on October 7th and USA Universities: Indiana University, Rutgers University, Iowa University & Colorado University on October 10th for grade 12. The purpose is to give orientation to students about their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.

USA Universities Fair will be held on October 15th for grade 11 & 12. This fair will be an opportunity for students to meet university admission officers. They will be informed about their programs offer, admission requirements, application process, fee structure and deadline of application.

CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Selected Leaders of Counselling and Career Services will attend the Lumielabs Launch Event on October 7th at Dusit Thani Hotel, Dubai. During this event, the importance of video within classroom and how video can be influenced in your classrooms to engage learners will be discussed. Digital storytelling tool that will benefit the classroom will be included.

SPORTS

CBSE UAE Cluster Sports and Games will be organised on October 1st & 2nd for Football boys under 19-year of age, on October 7th & 8th for Basketball girls under 19-year of age, on October 9th & 10th for Chess, on October 13th & 14th for Basketball girls under 17-year of age and on October 15th to 17th for Kho Kho.
